Easy set up, smooth running with strong signal allover. Not bad, except that you'll need to restart the whole system every 3rd or 4th day..

I purchased this router for my home about a month ago and have had nothing but problems, we have about 6 devices connected at any given time; 2 desktops, 2 laptops, and 2 game consoles and I don't know if its just trying to handle more than it was intended for or what but it frequently drops the connection and has to reconnect, and this is across all the devices so I know its the router, I have even recently had my isp install a new modem to see if that was the issue and it didn't help either. I will be returning this product.

I have worked for two day to get this thing to work without luck. It is determined not to connect, at least with my iMac running OS 10.4.10. Yet an older Belkin router works like a charm, so I know my modem, wired connections, wireless connections, and computer are running properly. But this router is a total waste of money and time.

This product was a great gift for my Mother She could now take the laptop anywhere in the house and out on the deck and enjoy herself. The signal strength is excellent and the ease of setup was why I chose a Belkin Router.

Hi,
I was wondering if support for the Belkin F6D4230-4 'Enhanced Wireless Router' is possible?
This has:
FCCID: K7SF6D4230V1
H/W version: v1000
some other number: 3623A-F6D4230V1
The source code for this routers firmware can be found here. From looking at the code it seems to be a Ralink RT3052 or RT3050 and a MIPS24KEc based SoC.
Think it's got MX29LV160DBTI-70G 2MB Flash and 8MB of Etrontech EM638165TS-6G SDRAM.

ralink doesnt have only 2mb flash cause its linux based

sooo.. nothing for this? Belkin did indeed fit a nicely custom Linux 2.6 into 2MB of flash. Can you? :)
I know my default openwrt builds for the WRTU54G-TM are 2.2MB and it uses rt2x00 wifi (rt61pci).
so a DD-WRT micro for RT305x SoC ..?

You want more features than in the nice Belkin build and think that doesn't take more space?
It would be a total waste of developers time to work on a build for a router with those specs.
There are so many routers with decent specs that are still not supported by dd-wrt.

Isn't the 'mini' a 2 MB build of DD-WRT? Couldn't that run on this router?
