Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead, trying to increase compatibility with the big star weapons too soon, because I find myself playing the game on easy, which I never did in any Warriors game before Orochi 3. I don't remember too much about the game but I do remember how I would do the weapons. Instead of buying the next level of weapon, I'd work on the current one and merge it with others to get the most equip slots for skills, as well as transferring over the best skills I had across all my weapons for that character. And the skills I would use depended on the character. I don't know if you have him yet but Ryu Hayabusa has almost nothing but airborne combos, so the skill that increases damage on enemies in the air is really useful for him.Another thing I did was buy the next level of weapon if I could but again, focus on the one I was using.

Let's take a look at Lubu's 4 star weapon. It has 50 initial power and 4 star weapons cap with an extra 18 power.

You need to complete an objective on specific maps using a specific character, namely the one the weapons is for. This means that if you want say, Guan Yu's weapon and the objective is kill 1,000 enemies in 5 minutes, Guan Yu's gotta do all the dirty work, you can't just bring in a level 100 nonuple-promoted Himiko to clear house. This of course means that you'll be needing to level up everybody (and their weapons) as needed.Finally, some weapons have multiple eligible stages. However, you only need to complete the objective on one of them to get the weapon, not all of them (A small mercy).

When you complete the objective, you will get a notice that a treasure has appeared. If you check the battle log, it will show you exactly where the treasure spawned.
