Lightroom 5.2 For Mac

Apr 15, 2015  So here's my quick, basic explanation of Lightroom 5 and getting started. Audio will be better in future videos. Still waiting on a pop filter.

Regarding the failures that you're experiencing now, where are the folders in question stored? On your system drive? On another local, internal drive? On an external drive (if so, connected how)?

The problem is very intermittent. It'll happen a lot for a day, and then the next day the problem will be gone and it won't rear it's ugly head for a week or two.2.

I have been unable to reproduce the problem, but I will try what you suggested.3. I think this is the root of the problem, but I'm not sure. This is an internal drive. However, the folder I am often synchronizing is a folder in my Dropbox folder.

My theory is that the folder is in the process of being updated by Dropbox when I synchronize in Lightroom. This causes lightroom to 'seize up' and I am unable to get that folder to sync, sometimes even after restarting Lightroom. I think it must corrupt Lightroom's catalog directory somehow. If you know of this issue, please let me know. I have tried to be careful of syncing this dropbox folder. Waiting extra time for Dropbox to finish syncing any new files before attempting synchronization with Lightroom.4.
